Pole fishing is a specialised method of fishing that has the use of a long pole without a reel, and is predominantly used for float-fishing.The poles are usually made of carbon fibre to give strength, lightness and responsiveness.The poles can be anything from 6-18m or 20-60ft in length, this allows for great precision of the presentaion of the float as the line is directly above the float.
